Old Iver Johnson TP22 question.
I am repairing a older Iver Johnson TP22 for my friend.
It's extractor roll pin either sheared or backed out and it lost the extractor and spring. I was able to purchase a extractor and pin from Numrich, but no one seems to have a extractor spring. Does anyone know the approximate dimensions of it, maybe just the length? I'm hoping I can fashion a spring from some of my spare parts. Any help will be appreciated! |

I don't have one any more; it cost too much in Bandaids to keep. They are a poor copy of the Walther TPH, but many parts, including the extractors, are different. IIRC, the extractor spring in the IJ is just a short coil spring that should be available in any "junk" box or from www.gunpartscorp.com.

gunparts.com says they are out of stock on this. I probably can use something from some of my spare stuff to make one, I hope. And I can keep looking.
