Is there any competition that will let me shoot my HK MK23??
The MK23 is the pistol that I shoot the best, hands down(30,000 rounds and counting).
I have heard mixed results on the use of this in competiton. Is it a pipe dream or can I use this pistol??? (I am currently using my USP which works great but I don't have as much trigger time with it as I have on my MK23). I have had no difinitive answers from the various shooting organizations.(IDPA and GSSF say No). My wife tells me that everyone would laugh if I used this Beast. (my 15 year old son agrees with my wife and my 2 youngest children 11 and 8 tell me to use it). Any help and comments + or - would be most welcome. thanks.

Find a USPSA/IPSC match. Better yet go to www.uspsa.org , and ask if it would be legal for LIMITED10 or PRODUCTION class. If not, just shoot it in OPEN. You may not win (most likely not) but you can shoot.
