Overheard two customers talking about a keltec P3AT. "380 is a useless self defense caliber unless you use Federal Hydrashocks."

The other day I was giving a private training session to a few ladies (appeared to be college aged) that had never fired a gun before. After going over the safety protocols and basic functions of the guns we went to the range.

I then proceeded to load up their magazines so they could shoot. Then one of them asked me....

"is this how all the bullets come?" Pointing to the box of 9mm on the bench. "I thought they already came loaded into that clip thingy. That sucks that you have to load them each time."

I just kinda chuckled to myself.

Hey... ! That young lady's just listening to those who really understand that to be the case:

Questioned on what's to be done with the millions of high-capacity
magazines already in circulation, [CO Democratic Rep. Diana] DeGette
asserted that they'd be discarded once they're used.

"I will tell you these are ammunition -- bullets -- so the people who
have those now they are going to shoot them, and so if you ban
-- if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity
magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the
bullets will have been shot and there won't be any more available,"
she said.

With lawmaker so remarkably astute... who can blame your student?

But many thanks to 10's of thousands of weapons owners like yourself who actually take the time, and have the real knowledge, there's one less citizen who'll listen quite so gullibly to the Kool-Aid now.

Many years ago I was in the LGS. A guy was looking at some handguns with a buddy of his. I was stopping in to pick up some ammo. Owner's son was taking some out for them to look at. One says to the other that is holding a very nice Browning Hi Power. "9mm is great for punching holes in paper. .45 Auto is better for punching holes in people." I know the owner, and his son well. The son was trying to hold back his laughing. He still was professional towards the two. The one looking at guns bought a Sig in .45 Auto.

Gun buy back; $50.00 ....

Nothing is a shock anymore.
I saw a TV news item about a local gun turn-in event sponsored by a group of local LE agencies.
The video clip showed a guy holding a airsoft type pellet gun, .
I bet he got his $50.00 gift card too cause you haveta get them evil guns off da streets!
