Pistol Bayonets

Claims to be a Glock knife, but I can't find it on Glock's website. Regardless of the brand, what do you think of the concept? I think it might be pretty lethal; I know I would die laughing if someone pointed it at me.

(Always assuming, of course, that I knew he was out of ammo.) It's a nice looking knife, wouldn't mind having one, but I can't see sticking it on the end of my gun. Especially not for CC.

Might be popular in the gangsta culture. Expect to hear of some kid that cut off his special purpose because he stuck one of those down his pants.

Things like that enjoyed a certain amount of popularity in WWI. There was a similiar attachment for the large frame Webley. Before that, instead of knives attached to guns, there were guns attached to knives, when the guns only had one shot.

While the things certainly look silly, they'd be a significant deterrent for a BG to take the gun out of battery by pushing on the business end of the slide. There are, of course, other pickatinny-mounted doohickeys that do the same thing, but most don't have the added advantage of drawing blood in the process.

It's a LaserLyte. With a Ka-Bar blade. I almost got my buddy one for his Taurus sub-compact. Just for giggles. Unfortunately, it's priced a little high for giggles....

You don't have one of these yet? If you do not have one in the next week (and mounted, of course) you will be forever baned from the Mall Ninja Hall of Fame.

Rumor has it that Gecko45 has defended three old ladies from purse snatchers using this exact set-up.

I guess as a novelty item it would be OK, but to seriously consider this set up is too much to take.

When I was about 10 years old, my mom had gotten a reprint copy of the 1902 Sears catalog; in the firearms section I recall seeing a "bayonet revolver." Am I crazy, or does anyone else recall seeing this as well? (Actually, I guess those two questions are not mutually exclusive........)
