looking for load data for the speer 50gr tnt in 22-250 and 220 swift
Hi to all,
i own the book of speer #14, and unfortunatly for a reason i don't know, there is no load data for the 50gr tnt for the 22-250, and for the 220 swift. So i was wondering if, by any chance, any of you do have any load that are safe and good. I own a cz 550 varmint laminated for my 22-250 and a remington vssf II for the 220 swift, both of them are 1:14. thx for your informations |

I looked over my Speer 13th edition and it said to keep m/v below 3400 f/ps due to the bullets thin jacket. It also said that some shooters were able to use them just fine at 22-250 velocities and that success or failure seemed to to be determined by the condition (read: smoothness) of the bore.

One more thing
Using a Stoney Point (now Hornady) bullet seating guage would that most of the guess work away. You can also modify a resized cartridge with a dremel tool. I've had good lust with both.
