Did I get a good deal on this scope?

Just bought a KonusPro 6.5-25x44, illuminated mil dot reticle (red or blue), 4" sun shade. It's like new, with box, documentation, etc. I already know its no leupold, but for $200 seemed like an upgrade for a rifle I have with a Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 BDC on it. Was I right? Did I pay a reasonable price?

That's not a bad price for that scope, but as to how much of an upgrade it will be over the Nikon remains to be seen.

I don't like Nikon scopes, especially the prostaff line. I think you did ok.

The price is probably fair, but I think the Prostaff is a better scope. For $100 more you could have had a Leupold.
