F Troop strikes again in Tucson

This poor guy had a stroke or heart attack, wandered out of the house naked seeking help, and then the fun started.

Here's a link:
http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp...5&nav=14RS7HuG

They evacuated over a dozen familes from the neighbor hood.

TV coverage shows the pendejos hauling "military style weapons" out of this guy's house in the form of old bolt action Mausers, Enfields, etc and more fools running around in white HazMat bunny suits, etc.
They even cut a giant hole through the roof of the house to use as an entrance because the guy had mace or pepper spray rigged somewhere in the house as a theft deterent.

So far, the "authorities" have found nothing illegal but this guy is going to have another stroke when he sees all the damage this characters have done to his home and his collection.

This is one of the worst cases of over-reaction I've ever seen.

What gives these fools the right to destroy property and confiscate legal guns?

Far be for me to ask a legal question, but why the heck are the fed mall ninja involved and what's their basis for taking his property? Let me guess--drugs?

We cannot rid ourselves of the ATF, and the immoral, inane and unconstitutional laws they enforce, fast enough.

maybe I'm stupid, but

what right do they have to take this action against this man? What justification?

This man should be one rich dude, after his lawyers get through with them.

Here's another link to the story:

http://www.kgun.com/story.asp?TitleI...ramOption=News

They went into much more detail on TV but again, they are making all this fuss over what appears to be an inert mortar shell and some ammunition.
So far all the "military style weapons" they've shown on TV have been old bolt action rifles.

This guy has every right to be upset over this nonsense. I hope he sues the crap out of everyone involved after he recovers.
I'd also be pretty PO'd if I was one of the neighbors forced out of their homes by these idiots.

Something needs to be fixed here. . . . . quickly.

Amazing (or typical) how the media coverage could care less about what the ATF is doing to this man, but is all over spinning him to be a looney gun-nut. That article that Bottom Gun posted reads like a middle-school newspaper.

Is there anyone in the local area from this board that could call the Sheriff's office, (since he is elected) to find out what the h*ll.

I just LOVE how...

...the term "Miltary Rifles" is being bruited about to panic the viewer, when apparently some of the rifles in question haven't even been brandished in anger since the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein.

I've got "military rifles" in my house, too. They saw service with, for example, the Imperial Japanese military and the military of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I know a lot of Civil War reenactors with "military rifles", too. Quick! Round them up!

I just sent a letter to the Arizona Daily Star, a Tucsonian Newspaper:
Quote:
Regarding the continuing search of Dale Eroh's home, I am utterly shocked and ashamed to be an American if this is what happens in our nation. Where is the outrage over the illegeal search of Mr. Eroh's home? Mr. Eroh has commited no crime and is posing absolutly no threat of commiting a crime. Since no crime has been commited, no warrant for the search of Mr. Eroh's home can be issued. Unless Mr. Eroh gave permission for his home to be searched, the police and the ATF have absolutly no reason or right to search his home, regardless of what they suspect may be inside. This is a blatent violation of Mr. Eroh's 4th Amendment rights, and the government is only getting away with it becuase Mr. Eroh is not in a position to defend himself. The Tucson Police must leave Mr. Eroh's home, return all of his belongs, and pay for the repairs for the damage to the home. And most importantly the must admit that they are in the wrong and apologize to Mr. Eroh and the American people.
We'll see if it gets printed....

You know they will have to come up with some kind of charges against him in an attempt to keep themselves from looking like the complete jack booted morons they are.
After all, the door was open and the enormous stockpile of weapons was visible, so they can't be charged with illegal search. Next they may be raiding Cabelas.

gorlitsa,

You may want to throw a paper copy in the mail to City Hall if you are a Tuscon voter. They don't like spooking voters; it makes them worry about unemployment.

Now they are imitating scenes from the movie "BRAZIL"?!?!!!!! Great! What will they think of next? Couldn't they have saved time and just burned the place down? :barf: :barf:

I read no evidence in those articles that the BATF has been at his house.

I'll be sending off some letters tomorrow. For anyone else in Tucson (or elsewhere) here is some info:

Mayor Bob Walkup
City Hall
255 W Alameda St
Tucson, AZ 85701
(520)791-4201

Chief of Police Richard Miranda
270 S Stone Ave
Tucson, AZ 85701

I don't know much about how the city works; will writing the police help at all?

SW9M,

I'm working in Tucson right now, but I doubt a call to the Sheriff's office will do much good because I doubt I'll be able to talk to anyone but one of the dispatchers.
I'll try calling the mayor's office after the smoke clears.

I doubt letters to these Tucson newspapers will be effective. Don't forget these are the guys who refuse to take classified ads for firearms.

Deanf,

No, the articles do not mention F Troop.
I'm repeating what the Tv newscasters have been saying. They claim the TPD called ATF in because guns were involved.
I don't really know if it's true or not.

I did, however, see film of the bolt action rifles, the white suits, and the hole in the roof.

Tamara,

You're right! I'd better keep my 1864 Springfield "military rifle" out of sight before they cut a hole in my roof too.

Wish I knew what to do about this. I think maybe some letters to our congressmen, the sheriff, and the mayor would carry the most weight.

Any suggestions?

It's just that your thread title made it sound like an ATF raid had taken place. Sounds like the SO just called ATF to check on the guy's FFL.

'Course this info is mostly coming from TV news, so it's probably all wrong.

Yours for accuracy in reporting,

/s/Deanf

The end result is the same as a raid. They're illegally taking all this guys's guns. No matter what you want to call it, it stinks.

I'll make a point of watching the "news" tonight to see what else they say.
I haven't seen a newspaper since I don't do business with these sellouts.
Don't know what to believe these days anyway.

I don't think the sheriff's office is involved though since the house is within city limits. The only agencies mentioned on TV so far have been the TPD and ATF.

Somebody local should call the sheriff. Even though it is a city issue he can put a stop to it. The sheriff is the senior officer in his county. Above any fed. agent.

Well, he could stop it if he has the gonads.

I for one, would like to know what his office says.
