Kahr k40 Still makes me smile
I bought the kahr k40 elite quite a few years ago as my first carry weapon. It has been relegated to the safe replaced with lighter ccw pistols. Every time I think about selling it, I get it out of the safe and remember how it good it feels in the hand. Of all of my handguns the k40 fits me the best. It has got the perfect grip, perfect balance, and points so natural that I just can't get rid of it.i did shoot it at the range quite a bit last year when all I could fing was 40s&w at gun stores. I have gotten away from 40 and more just 9mm and 45. So I think I will just have to smile and put it back in the safe even though I really have no use for it. I will continue to take it to the range maybe once a year just because I love the trigger on it.and shoot it we'll for a 40. I just don't love the caliber like I used to. Any of you have a gun you have no use for but just can't give it up?

I've been eyeing a Kahr CW9 to replace my K9. But like you said the gun just feels perfect in the hand and has good balance. I only wish it had standard rifling so I could shoot lead out of it.
