All I have is this buck was supposedly killed near Baldwin this month.

I think this deer green scores 250. I'm guessing it might have a shot at breaking the Hanson buck world record typical if it is legit. Even after deductions and the abnormal drop points, it is going to score very well net typical as a main frame 12pt.

I ain't buying it. I may be wrong. Those horns are over ten inches wider than that fellow at the shoulders?? My bet is on a cropped picture. Tom.

A little more realistic view. My brother has a friend of a friend. I do believe that one shot was either a enhanced version, or a strange angle.

I see a split brow tine on this one that is not on the other. The brow tine looks a little more like one of the other antlers.

Thanks for the picture. I would like to see another head on. It definately looks smaller than the other, no doubt, but it's still looks to be a very huge rack. If you hear anymore, let us know.

If you look at the original picture, look at the size of the guy's fingers. He's using the same photo technique you see in a lot of fishing photos: hold the fish as far away as you can to make it look bigger. That's why the horns appear to extend 10" either side of the guy.

If he really had hands that big, I would pray he's not a proctologist!

All that being said, that is still an incredible rack. Double drop tines on both sides almost symetrically! Very rare.

I was thinking the same thing. A pro photog once explained to me how to shoot pics that make the game look huge. You have the animal as forward as possible in front of the hunter and shoot with a fisheye lens, leaving plenty of space around the top, bottom and sides of the subject. The reason you don't fill the lens with the subject is because you're going to crop out the outer areas of the shot where there will be distortion from the fisheye. The effect is awesome.

Out of curiosity, I copied this photo and pasted it into a cheapie photo application to see if it had something other than a standard aspect ratio that would hint at cropping. It measures 610X458, but if you bump it up to 105%, it's 640X480 - a standard aspect ratio. My guess: Authentic.
