Ford's Custom, any experiences?

Anyone had experience with Ford's Custom gun shop in Fla, as far as gun refinishing? Looking to have some plating done.

The local gun shop sent out a pistol and not to slam a co. but I was not that impressed with the hard chrome finish they did. I would look at Tripp research,
Metaloy, or Checkmate for plating.

I have had a few guns done by them. Most have been excellent but you have to be VERY specific on how you want the gun finished. The one gun I wasn't happy with they reworked for free to my satisfaction. They do much better work then checkmate at fair prices. Expect to wait 1-2 months turn around time on your guns unless they tell you otherwise.
