Any suggestion for powder/load combos for short barreled 44. mag to keep the flash/bang down? I have a 4" with comp, for only about 3.25" rifled barrel, and the bang is pretty bad. I'm perfectly willing to sacrifice some fps for a more "civilized" load.

I use ADI AR2205 which is also known as Hodgdon H110 in both my 357 and 44 mag

2400 for the rifle. only been shooting max loads.

will be working up loads for the pistol soon and 2400 and 231 along with 200gr lead [soft loads] and 240gr jacketed [ more power to max]. blackhawk 7 1/2"
