mule deer hunt success

hey you all;
i am new to the board, and wanted to tell you about my 1st mule deer hunt in montana. we tagged out in 2 days. my buddy owns a mountain in montana, and he wanted me to teach him how to hunt, he has never shot a deer in his 59 yrs of life. he took me out there 2 yrs ago to scout the area and it was loaded. we got there last thurs and opening day is sunday. i located the deer and tracked and plotted thier movement for 3 days. they were their everyday at almost the same time. i got him 2 deer and i took 2 deer. his deeer were a 243 lbs 4x5 buck at75yds and a doe 189lbs at 176yds. mine was a 4x4 buck 242 yds and a 260lbs doe and 343 yds. all shot through the neck, and dropped on the spot. it was freezing 6 deg with 30 mph wind. i had a hell of a time cleaning and field dressing them in that weather. but i would not trade this experiance for anything in this world. i hope you all enjoy this article, because i sure enjoyed telling you about it.

Muledeer hunt

Way to go Snakeman!
There just isn't anything to compare with that kind of an experience, is there. I am happy it turned out so well for you and your friend (great friend to have).
