Welcome to The Firing Line!

I can't answer your question directly. It depends a lot on what you are shooting. Give us some more detail and I bet somebody can come up with good descriptions or pictures.

Sticky bolt, (very hot)
Extractor marks, shiny spot on the case head, (very hot)
Blown Primers( Extremely Hot)
Excess Velocity (above book)
Loose Primer Pockets

FIRST sign is typically "flowing primers". The primer flattens out and flows around the firing pin. There's no longer a neat little "dent" in the primer, with the metal around the edges of the dent mushrooming, rounded in the primer pocket.

The primer is flat with a striker mark, and looks like it's been slammed against the bolt face -- because it has.

Sticky extraction for sure. On a bolt gun, difficulty in lifting the bolt handle.

If you're working up wildcat loads, you should get a quality chrono and look at velocities. Velocity data should tell you when the load is getting up to the edge.

The important thing is not to ignore or minimize what you're seeing. Be sure of your data, and double check your load processes.

thanks everyone for your help.

I primarily will be shooting .223 out of my RRA Preditor Pursuit, & 9mm out of my CZ Rami 2075.

Thanks again to all for your help

Which one? They are all different and in many case the Min. in one manual will be the Max. in another. So, which one do you not exceed?

safety first is not a slogan

The lowest one.

There are methods for working upwards towards the safe 'maximum' in a specific firearm, but never simply based on data.
There are too many discrepancies to do so.
