1ozLoad, I took the Beretta out for the first time today...
it definitely is a very soft shooter, especially with the KO recoil option. Very easy to shoot and well made shotgun. Mine has a 30" barrel which allows a very smooth swing. I would say it's almost as good as my Benelli Sport II, but will require a bit more maintenance since it's a gas gun. My Benelli is still spotless inside, after 500 rounds of factory loads. Cleaning the A400 isn't all that difficult though. Love the anodized blue receiver.
Thanks for the tip on this gun... |

Glad you like it, Slugo. The Xtreme I was lent is the softest shooting 12 gauge I've ever held.
However, a few rounds is hardly adequate for a T&E. Go shoot it plenty.... |

Dave, as much as I like the soft shooting 1100's, I think the Beretta autos are even softer. I can remember demo'ing my AL391 Urika Sporter in front of my buddies. I would rest the recoil pad squarely against my nose, then pull the trigger. Couldn't feel a darn thing...

What the 1100 does for recoil attenuation, the Xtreme does in spades.
