Federal 5.56 MK318 MOD 0 Chrono Test From My 10.5'' SBR
I'm always searching for the best ammo for my SBR and most of the guys I work with either run one of 2 loads––-Speer Gold Dot 64gr (or the Fusion 62 version) or the MOD 0 load we're testing here today. Both loads are recommended by Dr. Roberts and are probably good choices for a rifle (SBR) that is already compromising muzzle velocity due to the short barrel. Here's the chrono test I ran to document the real world results: MK 318 CHRONO TEST HD VIDEO LINK Chrono data: 2617fps, 943 ft/lbs energy.

Thanks for the post. I just got my 10.5" this past friday and looking to run some rounds next weekend. Any cycling issues with other ammo? What buffer are you using?

I've run over 1k through it with 0 issues; mostly cheap russian crap too. I'm using a Spikes H2 buffer.
