Inletting Patch Box

I'm thinking of Inletting an aftermarket patch box into the stock of my .50 cal hawken. Any advice, words of wisdom or warnings would be greatly appreciated.

Tom, Thanks for the link it helps a lot. I'm gonna give it a try. I'll practice on a lot of scrap first to get the tecnique down although that doesn't always guarantee success on the final product.
