Info on German airgun

A coworker has an airgun he'd like some info on.
The gun is a Hannel model 28, .177 cal made in Germany. barrel markings are; Hannel mod 28 D.R.P. Brit. Patent No 277265 USA Patent No 1761993. Serial No is 223xx
This is a single shot pump action, very well built and heavy. Somewhat resembles a Ruger 22/45, has wooden grip inserts.
Any info provided is appreciated, especially want to know abut replacement parts, it's missing a spring and the rear sight.
