Same here. I'm just annoyingly chemically sensitive so I have a well ventilated workshop and use gloves when I'm working with chemicals and that way I tend to avoid headaches and itching palms.

Perhaps, but the smell of Butch's Bore Shine is a beating to get rid of, and I do not live alone.

Unless I'm in a hurry or just doing a light cleaning, I always use latex gloves.

I also always always always wear safety glasses after learning a lesson. One time when I didn't I got some painful solvent splatter in my eye.

Always use ventilation.
