Butler Creek folder ?

I just picked up a Ruger mini-30 with a B/C folding stock and I want to use a 6 to 9 inch Harris bi-pod.

The factory sling swivel is mounted to the left side of the gas block, so I will need to mount a QD stud in the bottom of the forend. There is very little clearance from the inside of the forend to the operating rod, not enough for a nut.

How do I best mount a QD stud 2 inches or so behind the gas block, tough enough to withstand the pounding from the bi-pod ? Thanks, Paul

Hey, did I put this post in the wrong place? (I'm a newbie on this board) 3 days, 26 reads, and not even a YPDB response. Thanks, Paul.
