You're a long way from central Texas, but in the last couple of days I saw quite a few boxes of the 50 gr VMax on reloading shop shelves. Just the 50 grainers.

Cabelas has the 40gr v-max in stock... not cheap, but in stock. They had 50gr Z-max at $73/500 for a few weeks but are out now.

Powder Valley Inc. has both the 40 gr and 50 gr V-Max in stock for the .224.
$15.94 each per box of 100.

I've scored 2 boxes in 35g, 3 in 40g and 4 in 55 g by just stopping in at all the stores that carry them.

Also Midway had 55g ones last week at a time I needed a few other things. I could have ordered 10 boxes but I was a bit broke and only bought 2...

GEEZERBIKER, what do u use the 35grain for. I tried those but they didn't seem to work as well as the 40grain or the 50 grain out of my 700 with a 1/12 twist
