rifled choke tube

I live in a shotgun only area in Michigan-roughly the lower third of state.I hunt whitetails with a Browning Gold in 12 ga. with a scope mounted-smoothbore impcyld choke.Accuracy is not bad but...Have seen ads for rifled choke tubes, not entire barrel. This shotgun uses the Invector + tubes.Anyone have any experience with a rifled choke TUBE?Like to increase my accuracy and effective range a little. I'm too cheap to spring for a rifled barrel for a once a year thing but would go for another choke tube if it works well. Thanks.

Briley has a rifled choke for deer - you might be able to find it for less from Gamaliel, Graf, or one of the other big internet folks

I've never seen a rifled tube yet that actually improved accuracy. Try different brands of slugs. You'll find that your particular gun will prefer one brand over another.

Doyle, mine does. The difference at 100 yards is at best, 1.5-2".

Of course, YMMV....

Dave, I'd be really currious to find out if you got a similar improvement in results just by switching to a different normal I/C or M shotgun choke.
