Remington Managed recoil/Reduced Recoil slugs
What is the difference if any between Remington's Managed recoil 12 ga slugs at advertised 45% reduction in recoil versus their Reduced Recoil at advertised 43% reduction in recoil? Both state 1 oz slug and 1200 fps. Sportsmansguide offers the Reduced recoil slugs.

Not to correct our friend Zippy, but there is another aspect independent of the numeric differential that is so readily apparent that he must have paid it not heed. The first is "managed recoil" whilst the other is "reduced recoil". It is kind of like a lady can actualy reduce her tummy by diet and exercise or can simply manage its appearance with a girdle. Excuse the scientificness of my explanation.

Neither one of them will do some of the things I want a slug to do, which is why I use Brenneke KO full velocity hard lead slugs (1 oz @ 1600 fps) when I have a choice.
Reduced recoil/managed recoil also means reduced performance to some degree or other, either due to reduced projectile weight or reduced projectile velocity. No thanks...
