any one advise on date of Belgium Brown Safari 375 H&H serial 55069L69?
Any ideas on value. Mint rifle.

L69 = 1969

The asking price on this one is $2000. I would have guessed a few hundred less.

FWIW, IMHO an asking price isn't the same as a paying price/value - It's asking for the moon, with a chance of getting there.

The gunsinternational.com web site lists mostly Cabelas' guns, and most of the prices seem to be pretty high. A Browning Safari in 375 H&H will go for somewhere in the $1200 to $1600 range. The Medallions go for $2,000-$3,000, and some folks seem to think they're the same thing and set their asking price accordingly. If absolutely mint, including the box and tags, you might get an extra bump, but I wouldn't count on it.

Here's one that sold for $1495 with 98% blue and the gloss finish cracking.
