Thanks for the .45 Colt help.

I finally settled on Unique since I have so much of it. 9.8 gr. gave me the best groups overall. The bullet is cast wheelweights from a Lee .452 255gr. mold. 8.6 grains of Unique was also quite accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.

Here's my two best 6 shot groups at 25 yards, the top being from sandbags and the bottom offhand. (Both the 9.8 gr load.)

Both of those are right at 1 1/2 inches and even the worst loads of the day shot under 2 1/2. That Blackhawk will flat shoot!

It's a pity that WW stopped making the old WW630P ball powder.............man did that stuff work like a charm in the 45 Colt. Especially with a 250 grain JHP!
