Have you used this black powder? Is it an improvement over the regular black powder? I've only seen an advertisment for it at the Goex site here http://www.goexpowder.com/clear_shot.html

The Goex Clearshot has been in very short supply but is supposed to be back in production now. I'm on the lookout for it as I'd like to give it a try.

I'm tempted to try a can, but at $20 a lb. (Rendezvous @ Livermore), forget it!

GOEX Clear Shot will NOT work in a flint lock. I have heard it works great in Cap Lock rifles and has reduced fouling over the regular GOEX BP. It is not BP, but a replacement.

For the price, I'll stick with my 3Fg.
