Anyone purchase stock in Smith & Wesson in the last 10 years?
If so...you have officially hit paydirt in the last 2 years alone!
The M&P series particularly the Shield® have caused the massive spike in stock value, due in part from many female purchases of the Shield. Last quarter they raked in $130mil which is up roughly 35% from its $90mil profit last year....and still trending upwards! Im sure election 2012 fears have contributed to this as well...although neither candidate opposes NRA or gun control apparently. Congrats Smith & Wesson! Pretty sure Glock is a close 2nd as my 2 local dealers say they cant keep enough in stock Last edited by StainlessSteel215; October 2, 2012 at 09:49 AM. |
