So 9/10 outta ten first ot second edition B.P. rounds . Any more info will be lovely and much appericated. Now let me try n figure out how to get these pix up (I'm on my phone)

It looks like we can't see the pics unless we sign on to your service.

OK, I've cleaned out the dead links in your original message, and just left the others.
Try a free hosting site like photobucket or I think picturetrail still has a free service.

What is the barrel length? What is the serial number located under the left grip to include the letter? What are the exact markings on the top of the barrel rib, the side of he barrel, the barrel lug and the bottom of the grip?
All of the above are needed to determine date of manufacture and model variation. |

My father had one, in .32 caliber that he had acquired in the 1930s probably.
Don't recall that he ever actually shot it more than a couple of times. Mostly it was kept locked up. But it was a different and much safer time.

B 0598 ?? Its warn a little bit on the serial . Its located on the bottom of the handle and under the rib? I'm lost on the words right now at work. The barrel was about 3 1/3-4inchs I'd guess.

You have an first edition of that series of IJ's.
The cylinder lacks the recess for the bolt stop and the emblem on the grips face "forward".
The second edition has the bolt recess and the emblem faced "down". Have checked out by GOOD smith to see if it can handle current made ammo. |

Odd that, I only seem to find the B prefix used on the small frame hammerless?
