Purchased my Gen 4 G20 last year and love shooting it. It's a stout shot and a little snappy, but nothing punishing.

OP: About the muzzle blast, is yours the compensated version? I looked at these at my LGS, and that was something I was warned about with the comp. I don't care for Glock much, so it probably doesn't really matter. I'm just curious. I am leaning toward the EAA Witness Hunter for my 10mm fix.

45 ACP Auto Rim +P is equal to the 10mm
The Buffalo .45 ACP Auto Rim in my S&W model 325 is on the same team power wise as a 10mm...
Nice power level when needed...

Love the G-20 (and the 29). They do recoil much nicer than a 10mm 1911.
IMO you need a reloading press and/or a .40 conversion barrel to make them more economical and versatile. |

My Glock is the 20SF 3rd gen, it has been great so far, I use the Wolff Gun Springs non captive recoil rod and 22lbs spring, works well with the 9x25Dillon 6" conversion barrel too. Got the G-29 first and it has served me well.

One question I have (I have a gen 2 G20, and have had it for some time.).
How on earth can that pistol shoot so accurately with those blocky plastic sights?

My buddy had an early nineties Delta Elite
Quite a handful to shoot. The stout recoil beat that frame to death. The 10MM is a decent enough round but not one that I can justify finding a need for.

Need? 10mm?
Hmmmm.... I never let need get in the way of want when it came to more power.

I suppose you can consider them on the same "team" powerwise the same way that the 4th string quarterback that never gets to play is still on an NFL team! |
