IDPA match, how much ammo to bring?

How much ammo should I bring to my first IDPA match? And how long should I expect to be there? Is it an all day affair or just a couple of hours? Man, I'm excited about this weekend.

No pat answer. Depends on your local club. It depends on the number of stages that they run, and the amount of time it takes is really dependant on how many shooters there are, and how tight a ship your local club runs.

Ammo? Beats me. Once again, it all depends. Usually the match announcement will say something about what the minimum round count is. Bring at least half again that amount. I usually try to take double. It sucks to run out.

Bring 200 rounds, you'll not likely need it but it can't hurt to have some extra.

I think most of the events I've done have been 50rds or so, but it depends on how much the club sets up.

Sorry if this is to late, but I'd say 150 rounds and 4-6 hours from the alleged start time.
