How heat sensitive is BL-C(2)?
Does anybody here have much experiance with BL-C(2)? I'm going to be reloading 6.5 Grendel, a cartridge similar to the 6mm PPC, and have been wondering about what sort of allowances to make considering that normal temperature in September are 85-95 degrees and in December 20-25 degrees. I've used extruded powders in the past for rifle reloading and they are reputedly less heat sensitive compared to ball powders.

Not realy an answer to your question but...What I do for cold weather loads being loaded in the heat is throw some of them in the fridge for a few hrs and carry them to the range in a cooler, chrono them hot and cold and note the differences in velocity and accuracy. I have just started using BL-C(2) my self in a .222 wrapper. So far so good. Sorry idont have more info.

That's a pretty good idea. How long will they stay cold when you take them out?
