Resizing question
I'm resizing cast bullets and using .452 resizer, I reloaded some recently and notice that the bullet has expanded the casing completely around/depth. I have not fired them, but they cycle thru the pistol. Is this a problem or just cosmetic

You should ask the question in the reload section, good answers over there.

Since you use the phrase "cycle thru the pistol" you must be loading for a .45acp, yes?
If so, the .452 is usually the proper size for cast bullets. Your resizing die must be slightly smaller, but if the bullets aren't damaged as they go into the cases, and the rounds cycle, other than looking kind of funny, they should be fine. See how they shoot and judge from that.

.452 is good for a cast 45 ACP bullet. If you mic "store bought" cast bullets I think you would be appalled at the differences in sizes. That's one of the reason we work up loads for specific components and back off some when we change one of those components.
I'm thinking your sizing die is cut a bit small/tight. I notice the same thing when I crimp my 380s with cast bullets. the smaller size will give better tension on the bullets, cast or jacketed, and I wouldn't worry.

Sizing .45 ACP
All my .45 ACP .452 diameter bullets show some bulging in sized cases. Try the plunk test if they plunk shoot them. hdbiker

setback bad
Perfect; we seek 'sufficient case neck tension', and that bulge shows it.

Keith and Skelton used to love that bulge. Means you have good neck tension.

I agree witht he good neck tension comment. I would seat the bullet a bit deeper in the case such that the shoulder on the bullet was even with the brass. My gun jams with a similar profile bullet becaue of the false shoulder it creates.
Nice looking handload by the way.
