Hornady LNL AP and other dies

I recently purchased a new Hornady LNL AP and have not got it set up yet. Been doing some research and found that some reloaders have had problems with other dies with this press. Can any dies be used?

Also, does anyone know where any shell plates and shell holders can be purchased for 9mm and .38 Special? Seems like everyone is out of stock these days.

If your LNL AP is the new EZject, then any brand of die can be used. The problem was with the old wire ejector. If a sizing/crimping die (other than a Hornady) were in statiuon 5, the wire interfeared with the die, and smachine could not complet a cycle. The old fix was to simply carefully grind off the die so it would allow the ram to come all the way up to complete the cycle.

Call Hornady toll fre customer service (the number should be in your LNL manual) and they will either tell you who just got a shipment or buy it diredtly from them.

Good Shooting!
