Winchester 97 slam fire = fun
I had the range to myself today so I took the 97 out to make sure it still runs and fund a faster way to slam fire my shotgun.

That looks kinda' warm for Canada, this time of year.
Nice shootin'. I once had the Marlin version and it could fire like that, too. It was very popular with all my shooting friends. Wish they had brought their own ammo, though.

We are having a lovely autumn leaves are multi coloured but we've been lucky with only a few cold nights. November and December won't be as gentle.

BE CAREFUL! You may have a defective recoil lock on ..
the carrier that engages a slot on the left-side receiver face.
This ensures that the you are in full battery and takes the recoil, in not the bolt will take a lot of abuse. |
