Superformance for 7mm-08
Is there any load data for 7mm-08 with supreformance. I will be shooting a 168 gr. Berger VLD bullet. Or will this powder not work with this bullet. I am having a hard time finding any load data for this powder.

In a word, NO...
Hodgon does not list Superform for any of their 7mm-08 loads. If your looking to stay with Hodgon powder then try H414, W760, IMR4007SSC, IMR4350. Alliant Reloader 17 works well also. std7mag |

That's what it is looking like to me. What I really want is a temperature stable powder that I can get in 5#-8# lots. I just saw there was plenty of superformance powder out there.

I want to use target as I have used it in a .243 and really like it. But I can't seem to find it anywhere.

H4350 is temp stable and with your heavy bullets might even be a better powder for you than Varget. All of Hodgdon's Australian made powders are slim pickings right now though. Even the glut of IMR4227 on the shelves isn't the Australian made stuff. It's Canadian made.
You might also try to find some VihtaVuori powder. It is pricier but is also temp stable, and they are very good powders. N140 and N150 should work well with heavy 7mm-08. |
