Thinking about entering the world of full-auto. If I could get into a NIB M11 for $1k, tax, tag and title, would it be worth it? Are they any good?

Thanks!

Pete

Elsewhere in this forum is a recent comment about either a Mac 10 or an 11. The price is in the ballpark, apparently. Favorable comments about reliability, etc...

All the Macs I've seen in action seemed to perform as one would expect.

A Mac 11 with a silencer is an interesting critter!

Thanks for the reply, Art.

I am looking through 30 days' worth of messages for info. I was surprised at the (relatively) cheap price. Of course, if I buy one, I'll just want another, etc. etc. etc....

That's a good price, regardless of the pedigree.

Is it a M11/9 or M11/A1-380?

Made by Ingram PS, RPB, SWD?

Suppressor type/manufacturer?

Just curious, like I said it's still a good price - $600 for the gun and suppressor, $400 for two tax stamps - one for the gun and one for the suppressor.
www.gulfcoastarmory.com has some good links, videos of MACs, and a message board.

Have fun!

YES!!! Full Auto is the most fun way there is to turn money into noise!

Here is my M11/9. I've got a forward grip on it in this picture but now it wears a Gemtech Viper sound suppressor.

The prices on Mac's have jumped 200.00 in the last few weeks. Look around, 800.00 for the gun is a good price, it was a good price when they were 995.00. I bought one today for 750.00. In the last 3 weeks i bought 4 NFA items, SGW M-16, American-Manufacturing XXX .223 suppressor, SWD M11/9, and a Bowers CAC-9 suppressor. I had to sell some of my pre-ban stuff to do this. My wife is no fun, "No you cannot spend 6000, go sell some of those other guns you never use." I can't wait to see the look on my Sheriff's face when I walk in with 8 form 4's (2 per) for him to sign.

Thanks for asking those questions - that's the stuff I don't know about (except it *is* the M11/9). I'll ask about the rest and let you know.

If you've got the money, spend it! The idea is to get your foot in the door where you can always trade up. If Kali was full auto legal, I'd certainly have a few.
