NJCSD PETITION: Gov. Corzine Nominating 'Task Force'

Dear fellow Patriots,

Many of us are still reeling from yet another encroachment of our liberty in the form of the One Gun A Month bill that just passed which again hurts us without having any impact on criminals.

We are calling on all New Jersey residents (NJ residents only, please!) to express your outrage. We're too late to change the bill, but you can send a message to Governor Corzine to nominate only gun-friendly members to the 'task force' he's putting together.

Please visit the NJCSD website, click on the 'PETITION' link right at the top of the menu to the left. If you agree with our statement, please add your name to the list. All entries are confidential and will only be used for the purposes of this petition. Your name will not be seen publicly by anyone.

NJ PETITION: Governor's 'Task Force'

As many of you know, Governor Corzine and the anti-gun lobby have successfully passed the One Gun A Month bill, adding insult to injury here in the Garden State where it already takes on average 60 days or more to get a pistol purchase permit.

In exchange for influence peddling and buying votes, the Governor (knowing his election is shaky at best) has agreed to assemble a 9 member "Task Force" to review the state's laws and their impact on the law-abiding gun owning community.

We are asking all NEW JERSEY RESIDENTS to please go to the link below and add your name and address to the petition.

Task Force Petition

Our intent is to clobber the Governor over the head to nominate ONLY RKBA FRIENDLY members to this panel. The deck has always been stacked against us, this is a small, easy thing to do to even the playing field.

ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IS PRIVATE, WILL NOT BE SEEN BY THE PUBLIC AND IS STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL ONLY FOR USE TO SUBMIT TO THE GOVERNOR, SENATE PRESIDENT AND ASSEMBLY SPEAKER.

Please don't hesitate. Don't wait for someone else's approval. Don't wait around to see what everyone else does. Don't be cynical and refuse to cooperate because you're despondent - there are still those of us who care and are trying to do something for you, too. Time is of the essence here.

We have less than one week left to gather signatures and get them to the Governor's desk for review.

Do It Now!!!

Moderators, would one of you please sticky this post until the 24th of July?

Folks, we're receiving random reports of the petition form not loading on some machines with some versions of Internet Exploder. Please do keep trying - one member said that it went through on the 4th attempt. Or, try to get at it via our main site at www.njcsd.org and click the 'PETITION' link at the top left.

We apologize for the inconvenience. If you still want to participate and cannot get the page to load, please contact me directly and we'll get you entered manually, but ask that you send an Email as backup so that we have documentation that you authorized us to do so.
