I am surprised by the number of Titans and lack of Rohms on this thread.

I still have an old Rohm 22 revolver "Sat-night-special" I got for a few bucks on a whim once to help a guy out.
i didn't really want the gun, but he would not accept a "hand-out". I never decided how to get rid of it, so it's still in an old gun cabinet. It didn't look bad at all, but it was about the cheapest gun a person could buy in those days. |

Saw this refinished Victory Model in 38 Special in a pawnshop 9 years ago. I told the clerk they would likely never get the $100 asking price due to the badly bulged barrel. He asked me if I thought I could fix it and I allowed as I probably could. He said make an offer. I said $60 and he accepted without hesitation. Should have said $40.
Used the vise on my workbench to remove the bulged 4" barrel and installed a 5" tube I got off Ebay for $5. Serial was within a year of the frame. Had no problems with swap and gun shoots just fine. Total investment was $65. Honorable mention (tie)... Got this 1970 M14-3 off Gunbroker for the $100 starting price. Has some finish issues but tell me YOU wouldn't buy it at that price. At a local show this was on a table for $100 because the action was frozen. As I figured, congealed grease had it locked up and after flushing with solvent it worked fine. |

Bought these two Rugers for $225. The NM Blackhawk is a .357 from 1976 and the Single Six is from 1975.

I bought my Jennings J-22 for $56 in 1985. It had an extraction problem, but after I removed the extractor and sharpened the hook to get a better grip on the rim, it ran a lot better.
It's an early model (note the horizontal sliding safety), so I'm sure that collector interest has pushed up its value to at least $56.50 by now. |

$89 for this Llama 38 at my LGS. It had some broken wood grips when I got it. I tried some Smith k-frame Hogue grips and they fit like a glove.

My absolute cheapest guns were the spoke guns we used to make. 2nd cheapest was a antique black powder pistol found in bottom of junk box bought at storage auction for $10 |

Phoenix HP22A
Just last year (before the crap hit the fan timeframe) NIB out the door for $125. You get a great little .22lr "fun-gun" meaning IMO no defensive role whatsoever if it can be avoided. That said, I have almost 800 rounds through it (I studiously have kept track as I do all my guns [am I the only one that can recite round count on any gun in their respective collections ]) and it has literally never malfunctioned. Now here's the kicker, my much more expensive .22lr guns (Beretta Bobcat 21A, SIG 1911-22, Taurus PT22 etc) are VERY ammo sensitive and will only reliably cycle the HV stuff whereas the Phoenix eats any and all types of .22lr for a bill and a quarter! Don't knock if you haven't tried it :

Garycw, I really like that Phoenix in stainless (which I guess explains the difference in $).

Yeah--They couldn't swing SS at that price-point. I know I am beginning to sound redundant, but if anyone is looking for a affordably priced little mouse-gun (actually heavier than a P-3AT) for just some fun range/plinking get one of these.

The wife loves her Phoenix Arms 22. She's been wanting to get the longer barrel range kit.

If the Phoenix HP22 would have the slide lock when empty I would have one now.
