Uberti Warrantee Issue-- Minor One Worth Knowing About
Guys- Yesterday I posted up my new Uberti Colt Walker for
warrantee purposes on the Uberti web site. It is a user friendly site asking for the usual purchase date, serial number, purchased from, addresses, your address etc. No biggie. I hit the enter button and up comes the announcement that I have a one(1) year warrantee on my new gun. I was expecting a five(5) year warrantee as per the Uberti site since the end of the box clearly stated Stoeger. Stoeger is suppose to have the five(5) year warrantee but the web site is telling me just one(1) year. Hmmmm? So, I e mailed Customer Service at Uberti telling my story as above ^^. This a.m. I received a nice e mail from Kristen at Uberti stating that yes, my Stoeger import Uberti has a five(5) year warrantee and their warrantee registration site is being worked on to reflect this error. So, folks, if anyone has registered an Uberti purchased from Cabela's with Stoeger noted clearly on the end of the box, you have a five(5) year warrantee, not the one(1) year that the Uberti site has been putting up upon registering your purchase. You may want to contact Uberti so you establish a paper trail for five(5) year warrantee. Just my .02 David |
