Are threads standard?
I have a Hornady Case Prep Center and I LOVE it. I'm now working with .223 and am finding a LOT of brass that is crimped. For whatever reason, the Hornady Small Primer Pocket Reamer is sold out everywhere.
http://www.hornady.com/store/Primer-Reamer-Small-1-Each I found the RCBS version for their case prep center. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/145...ProductFinding Lyman also has a similar set. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/435...ProductFinding Does anyone know if the threads for RCBS, Lyman, and Hornady are the same? |

Several on YouTube have interchanged tools. They all use a standard 8-32 thread. Try threading a rifle bore brush on yours to verify.

I've never reamed primer pockets, but I have mounted a Lyman flash hole uniforming bit on my RCBS case prep center, I think most used the noted thread / pitch combo, & I think you'll find the parts you're looking at will interchange

Just received my RCBS military crimp remover. The threads did match and is working just fine.
