off topic

Would someone actually shoot another human being just for stealing a car?

I'm NOT talking about 'jacking.

cap em

re: auto theft

what if the theft of that car prevented you from going to work?
what if you lived out in the sticks and your car is the only way to get food for yourself and family?
what if the theft of that car would totally ruin your life?

in tx the law says you can use deadly force to prevent theft of an uninsured auto.

Midway still has Winchester 115JHP's for less than $50.oo per thousand, and can usually be had for less at gun shows, try buying powder 8# at a time instead of one pound cans, and there's no law againts buying primers by the case instead of 1,000 piece cartons.

I also agree with Weshoot, I reload for enjoyment. I also think that my home grown are better for MY guns than factory. Especially "RUSSIAN" factory...

Here in Alaska the use of deadly force to protect property is prohibited *EXCEPT* if the loss of that property would place human life in jeopardy. For example, you're out hunting with your snowmobile 50 miles from anything, park it and go off on foot for a bit, and you come back to it to find someone about to vandalize or steal it. The loss of that snowmobile equals a very good chance of you dying. Naturally you'd need to be able to clearly articulate exactly why you couldn't deal with the situation by some other means.

I reload for all my pistols except my 9mm Hi-power. I just don't shoot it enough.

Mike

I buy the blazer from Academy to shoot in my 9mm Glocks. For the STI Trojan and BHP, I reload 147 lead TCs over 231 or HP-38.

If cost was the only consideration, I might not reload for 9mm. However, I enjoy making my Dillons hum. I also have pride in the accomplishment of making very accurate loads very cheaply.

I might take up bullet casting for the same reason.

I enjoy flyfishing with rods I have made and flies I have tied.

Physics 101 = You can always get warmer (but cooler?)

Ski areas = flocks of (athletic) chicks.

Rock on!! Absolutely.

Anyway, I load for 9mm because I have a 3.5 gallon bucket filled with brass, which was free. (Let's just say I know a sub-machine gun owner and enthusiast. ) I can't let all that go to waste can I? Honestly!
