One Shot -- No More Mouse Squeak

Naw, I didn't blow away a mouse.

My HP wireless mouse developed an annoying squeak in the scroll wheel located on top between the left/right click buttons.

I put the extension tube on a can of Hornady One Shot and gave a quick blast on each side the wheel.

No more squeak, and the mouse works fine. One Shot is a great dry lubricant for plastics and aluminum. If your sliding glass patio doors are hard to move, try a little One Shot on the runners.

By the way, it's also a good lube for straight wall handgun cartridges; not so great for bottle neck rifle. My favorite rifle case lube is Rooster CFL-56, applied just like Imperial, but does a better job for me.

Reloading supplies for other purposes.....

kind off the subject a little....my old man is a train freak! He has hundreds of trains in various sizes. His G-scale (garden scale) trains are the big ones that run outdoors. The track has a bunch of brass connectors....and they corroded throughout the spring and summer. The old Hornady tumbler does a number on 'em. Gets them clean as a whistle!

Yeah, really. It sure as heck isn't any good for lubing cases.

I thought you were gonna say you hung it in a tree, and blew it to smithereens. That would have been more enjoyable to read. Oh well, thanks for the tip.

I did live in an old farmhouse at one time that was prone to mice. Had cats and traps, but never seemed to get em all. I used to watch one running around the living room nearly every night. Finally got the Crossman pellet pistol out and let him have it. Wife wasn't thrilled, but happy to have him gone.
