Can i use magnum primers in 30-.06?
I finally found some primers, but they are the WLRM, and I was wondering if I can use them in my 30-.06 loads? as all of you know, large rifle primers are harder to find than an honest person in Washington!!

Which Washington?????
D.C. or the State of?????? Can you use mag primers in 30-06? Short answer YES. You cannot substitute a mag primer for a load you have worked up with regular primers. Best thing is to drop your favorite load by 3 grains or more and work up, watching for pressure signs.

I should've specified, Washington D.C. thanks for the info shoney.
I also heard from someone in my local gun shop is that the magnums will make my shot group larger due to the explding of the powder instead of the smooth burning. Can anyone verify that or add to it?
