Peltor Tac 6-S battery swap?
Just found my older pair of Tac 6-s earmuffs and the batteries are dead. Can anyone guide me in removing the padded ear pieces? I can't for the life of me remember how to get them off, and I'm afrail I will dmamage them if left to my own devices.
Thanks! Bob Hendry |

Stick yer finger inside of the padded circle (the big hole that allows your ear to not be squashed). Press into the deepest edge of the padding (I usually do it at the bottom of the oval, but the top or bottom should work easiest, not the side of the oval) until you feel the hard plastic frame that the padding is attached to, bend finger & pull. The plastic will flex just a tad, & allow it to snap out easier. Peltor sells a "hygene kit" pretty cheap that contains a new pair of pads & foam covers.
