Changing barrels

Ok so my dad has a Winchester model 1300. It is a pump 12 gauge with a 28" barrel and a 2 3/4 & 3". On the other hand, I have a Winchester model 1400 mk II semi auto 12 gauge with also a 28" barrel, but a 2 3/4". His shotgun doesn't work because while he was hunting the spring in the pump flew out and he can't find it. So we are wanting to know if we to be able to swap barrels because I am wanting to use 3" double ot (00) for deer. I can add pictures if it is needed or for help.

I can't say for sure if those barrels would be interchangeable but I suspect they are not. Why not order a new spring and fix his pump?

Very rarely are the barrels for a pump and a semi auto going to interchange.
