school shooting
there was just a school shooting about 20 miles from me here in atlanta. a young white male walks into an elementary school(the same one Obama visited on his trip here), goes to the front office and tells the woman to call channel 2 news, points his AK47 at the steel front door and pops off a thirty round(HiCap!!) magazine and then surrenders.
sounds kind of funky, just sayin........

Wall-to-Wall coverage on WSB radio
Nobody was actually targeted by the 'short bus' punk with the gun. The 1st thing the punk did was have a school official call Channel 2 ... He then proceeded to empty his standard capacity magazine into the front doors. .

this thread won't make it long but before it's shut down.
the news has sensationalized these shootings to the point that it's the best way to be remembered. better than just offing yourself at least if you take 30 kids with you you'll become a household name. I'm sure this kid was just trying to make a statement in some fashion or another but it sounds pretty messed up to me.

Not a very well thought out plan there, pretty stupid. He wanted to be filmed killing cops... He's lucky he wasn't filmed being killed by SWAT. I'm very glad his "plan" didn't work though. Unfortunately it doesn't matter if no one was hurt either, the media is still going to be all over this.

It's now being reported that the kid shot it out with the 1st police to arrive on scene and that he may have had other weapons.

Mental illness is part of the human condition. You can't legislate away crazy.
But yeah sounds a little fishy to me. Boomer

Everything I've read makes it seem like the shooter was trying to make a political statement
