Ok cross referencing of Primers
We all know how hard it is to get primers ,well I have/need to reload some ammo for a hunt comming up and I want to use a certain gun ,and the primers I have are Remmington large rifle 9 1/2`s Federal 210,I also have WLR primers ,well the loads call for Federal 215`s and some call for Federal 215M ,does any one have or know the difference is there a table to get an idea on the differeces of these primers ,are these close enough to get my loads shooting good ???????

The Federal 215 is a magnum primer and those ending with "M" are Match quality. The load data you are looking at must be for large capacity case and slow burn rate powders. You might try to find data for some other powder. I know most of Accurate powders do not require a magnum powder except in the Weatherby .378 case sizes. You might try a faster powder load that does not require a magnum primer. You will get lower velocities but at least it will be a proven load. Otherwise try the load with regular large rifle primers and see at the range how it performs. A lighter thann max load of slow powder may be easier to ignite with regular primers than a stuffed to the gills load.

Look on you box of WLR primers. On the pistol primers it says for standard or magnum load. I don't know if the rifle primers are the same. Worth a look.
