I had a Carl Gustav M96, but I gave it to a friend for Christmas.

Still have this beautifully refinished 1900-vintage CG M1896/38:

Have a sporterized 96 almost traded it, silly. Took a nice young buck antelope with it a week ago.

I have a few of them also, one sweet rifle they are. Even have a couple that have been sporterized and very fond of them for hunting.

Cool! I took my 96/38 deep into the Big Bend of Texas, kinda thinking it'd be swell for Javelina, but never got around to doing the hunting.

Maybe next time!
