loading a hk g3

does anyone know of a way to protect the ejecting cases? I would really like to reload for this rifle, but the brass gets destroyed upon ejection. I saw a rubber buffer pad attached to the back of the eject port once. I cant find it anywhere, and have no Idea if it even works. Thanks guys, I know this is a little off subject, but the goal is reloading.

A rubber buffer is used on our swedish Ak-4's (H&K G3), but the cases still get somewhat beat up though not as bad as without it.

On our latest version of the Ak-4 the buffer is removed as it's incompatible with the picatinny rail that is welded on top of the action. There should be plenty of buffers laying around somewhere, but how to get them is another matter...
