They're tuff to find right now but PSA , Brownells , Midway most places sell them anywhere from $40 to $90
Here you go in stock right now $45 http://www.midwayusa.com/product/788...cm_vc=wishList and another in stock http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts...prod53928.aspx |

I'd recommend the ALG. The cheaper model is around $45 and really does have a better feel while retaining a stock type pull weight.

The reason I ask this is because I would like to have a spare trigger for my AR that I can rework without messing up my original one. I have read a few good articles about it and would like to give it a try.

I played around with one of mine . Stoned it then used a small buffing wheel on a Roto zip . It is smooth as glass . Bent the hammer spring and got the pull down to 4lbs . Man it felt great . I never should have bent the spring though . I got a FTF 2 or 3 time out of every 100rd of LC military ammo . I don't seem to have that problem when it comes to commercial 223 . I put a new spring in and no longer have FTF and the trigger pull is around 5-1/2lbs .

The best decent AR trigger is an RRA either in plain or chrome.
Still has the two stage which I have come to like a lot (from bolt actions that did not have it) and its got a veery nice let-off. The basic AR trigger sucks and for another $50 you can get one thats almost as good as the Timney and the like |

Keep in mind that AR15 triggers are case hardened and stoning it could lead to premature wear.

Brownells is a good place to buy. Also gun show dealers may sell AR parts by the piece. I usually buy a few extra pins and springs to use as spares. Triggers and hammers are around $10-25 IIRC
