need speer #9 22-250 load info

My speer no. 9 manual has been lost or stolen over the years. It had a couple great loads I loved to use in my 22-250 with a 55g spitzer. If anyone has the manual and can share the information on loads using the 55g bullets it would be appreciated. I wish I could remember the load off the top of my head but it's been years since reloading for this cartridge.

Do you remember what powder it was? Try this link

It's not a 9 but you may find the load you want. I think I have a 12 at home.

Not sure why #9 is unique. My current version (#14) shows 55 Spitzer SP and TNT HP with a max of 35 gr IMR-4895, COAL 2.35 (SAAMI max) yielding 3,421 avg.

Cause of my favorite load it had. I currently have a Sierra 3rd edition and it shows max at 35.5 grains of imr 4895 but I'm sure my speer no. 9 was 36 something grains I used. It was a hot load yet very accurate

You should use more recent data as powders may have changed a bit. You can always start low and work up to 36gr. I've found a lot of powders work well in 22-250. Varget, 4064, 2230 ..
